    • SMS & EMAIL notifications for containers out of protocol to all shipping lines

Operational Performance

  • Gate Turn Around Time (TAT):
    • Current target: 35 minutes for truck turnaround at the terminal

Initiatives Under Consideration

  • Review of landside operating hours to consolidate labor during peak hours and offer improved service (targeted for GP traffic only)
  • Separate gate for reefer containers (West Coast)
  • Installing truck directional electronic boards at the new gate
  • Formulating a specialized body with relevant stakeholders for a multi-pronged proposal to alleviate traffic
  • Medium term: move to full Auto Gate terminal
  • No CTO required
  • Shipping line to pre-advise export containers and release import containers
